Matthew “Matt” Blythe has been a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner since 2012, specializing in conducting practical tests for a wide range of pilot certificates and ratings.

Experience & Qualifications
Matt, a Master CFI, has over 15,000 hours and 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. In addition to his role as a Designated Pilot Examiner, Matt has served in various capacities within the aviation industry, including FAA Safety Representative, Part 141 Assistant Chief, and 141 Chief Instructor.
Matt is a certified Airline Transport Pilot with AMEL/ASEL ratings, and a Master CFI with AME/ASE/Instrument ratings.
